Locally Sourced is the comic I started working on during my intership at Kimmicomics. In the span of 6 months I did research, wrote and illustrated this manga and the kickstarter. Afterwards I promoted, started the kickstarter campaign and fully funded the manga!
Ghouls have been living amongst humans for centuries.
They are almost exactly the same as humans except for their craving for human flesh.
When rumors begin to spread about the mysterious disappearance of a dead college student’s body, Kai’s carefully hidden existence is put at risk. At the same time, he is constantly being haunted by recurring visions and an unrelenting want to feed off of his human best friend, Ren.
